Some process work for my Packaging 1 class. Last slide is some ideas of what bottle and case to put a hypothetical Sweet Tea vodka in if Arizona was to make one. ‘Tiva’ is a Hopi tribe (in Arizona) name meaning ‘dance’.

Mega Quarry Info Graphic By Sabrina Smelko
Melancthon’s Despair Over Highland Co.’s Mega-Quarry
Earlier in 2011, The Highland Company bought 7,200 acres worth of valuable farming land on Grade-A soil just a few hours north of Toronto in the little Township of Melancthon- which currently supplies 50% of our potatoes in Southern Ontario and is the Headwaters for our major rivers and streams.
They plan to build a mega-quarry to farm the limestone aggregate in the ground, ruining acres of gorgeous land, polluting the air and our water, ontop of other horrid things! All just to make money off of it.
Disgusted, I was promoted to make this infographic on the cause, in hopes to raise awareness, make it more understandable, and encourage people to participate in the fight against The Highland Co.
