Some process work for my Packaging 1 class. Last slide is some ideas of what bottle and case to put a hypothetical Sweet Tea vodka in if Arizona was to make one. ‘Tiva’ is a Hopi tribe (in Arizona) name meaning ‘dance’.
I don’t even know why I stopped posting, I don’t have any good reasons. I’m back though.

Last week the D&AD awards 2012 winners, nominations and longlists were announced, some brilliant things so im going to post my favorites this week.
The design for new brand No.3 London Dry Gin by Brandhouse got in-book in the packaging category.
I like the simplicity of this project. The key is an interesting feature, hinting at the story behind the gin and it’s place of origin. The vintage map wrapped around the bottle does a similar job and looks lovely, capturing the urban heritage feel that lots of gin brands play upon. The keyhole cut in the box is a nice touch too!
(P.S. I was doing something interesting this afternoon but I’ll post about it tomorrow. Bit of a hint here)
